HAH-hah!

I could tell you tell you that we got to the theater the day after it opened and only 10 minutes before the start time and still got good seats, but I won't, because I'm nice.

And? How was it?

If you like The Simpsons and/or juvenile humor, you'll have a good time. If not, it's not the movie for you. Boba: for you personally, I recommend it.

When you saw it, was it dubbed in French, or subtitled? If it was dubbed, did they try to make the voices sound the same?

We just saw it last night and really enjoyed it. We also got Jack's postcard in the mail the same day. Good timing on all our parts!

Being the booming town that Athens is, there were probably only about 10 people in the theater, including us. BUT, it was 4:35 on a Thursday afternoon... probably not the most popular time to see a movie. Anyway, it was fun. And they were giving out free candy after the show!

A bientot!

Having been surprised way too many times by American movies that we thought were going to be in English only to discover that they had some bits of dialogue in other languages (they NEVER show those parts in the commercials), we made sure to attend the original version, which I'm guessing they made available for the reason you mention: that they wouldn't be able to get the voices right otherwise for die-hard fans (they were also showing versions dubbed in Dutch and French). I was worried there might be a scene with Apu speaking in Hindi or something, so I made sure to check IMDB before we went. I feel strongly that the IMDB entry should have noted that in addition to English there was some dialogue in Dog.

I loved the Spider-Pig song at the end. I've been annoying Jack with it for the last couple of weeks.
